Features & Highlights
When it comes to managing your health, the myMerlin™ app is a game changer. It offers several standout features that make it an essential tool for anyone with a heart condition or those simply looking to monitor their cardiac health. Here are some of the most impressive highlights:
Real Experience Using myMerlin™
Application Scenarios
My journey with the myMerlin™ app began when my doctor suggested I monitor my heart health more closely. I started using it during my daily exercise routine, where I would track my heart rate and activity levels. Additionally, the app became invaluable during stressful days at work, where I could log my symptoms and see how stress affected my heart rate. On weekends, while spending time with my family, I would often check my heart rate during hikes or while playing with my kids, ensuring I was staying within a healthy range. The app has truly integrated into my life, serving as both a health monitor and a guiding hand in making lifestyle choices.
User Experience
Upon first opening the myMerlin™ app, I was greeted by a clean and intuitive interface that made navigation a breeze. The dashboard is user-friendly, displaying my heart rate and other vital statistics in an easy-to-read format. I particularly appreciate how the app guides you through its features; setting up my profile and preferences took mere minutes. The performance has been stellar; I’ve experienced no lag or glitches, even during high-use periods. The overall experience felt seamless, as the app has clearly been designed with the user in mind. Each feature, from logging symptoms to generating reports, flows logically, making it easy to manage my heart health without feeling overwhelmed.
Pricing
myMerlin™ is available for free, which makes it an accessible option for anyone needing to monitor their heart health. While some advanced features may require a subscription, the core functionalities provided at no cost are comprehensive enough for most users. The app aims to make heart health management affordable and user-friendly, making it a worthwhile tool for anyone, regardless of their budget.
Updates & Support
The developers behind myMerlin™ are committed to improving the app regularly, with updates that introduce new features and enhance existing ones. I’ve noticed several updates since I started using the app, which have consistently improved its functionality. Customer support is another strong point; I reached out with a question regarding symptom logging and received a prompt, friendly response that addressed my concerns thoroughly. It's evident that user feedback is valued, making me feel supported in my health journey.
Security & Privacy Review
As an American user, I prioritize security and privacy when using health-related apps, and myMerlin™ does not disappoint. The app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, which adds a layer of credibility. Upon registration, I was asked for necessary personal data, such as my name and health details, but I felt comfortable knowing that the app complies with HIPAA regulations, ensuring my information remains confidential.
Importantly, myMerlin™ does not bombard users with ads, which can often be a red flag for privacy violations. Instead, the app operates without intrusive tracking behavior, allowing me to focus on my health without distractions. Overall, I feel secure using myMerlin™, knowing that my personal information is protected while I manage my heart health effectively.

This application only gives one the ability to report symptoms. It doesn't tell you what your heart rate is, the incidence of afib, or anything else. Your doctor can see all that but you can't and that is unacceptable to me. I should be able to open the app and see my HR at min. No information is bad enough, but it is also unreliable. I paired it with my device in June and sometime in July it stopped working. When I went to my Doc in August, it hadn't been uploading data for about a month.

Before they changed the app from ConfirmRx to MyMerlin, everything was fine. Now I have to charge my phone twice as often because according to my phone this app uses more battery than all of the other apps in my phone combined. I called customer support and the only thing they could recommend was to force close the app in the morning and reopen it in the evening. This app is only supposed to be communicating with my loop recorder for a few minutes each night. It is draining the battery during the day. What is it doing during those times? I can't wait until the battery in my loop recorder runs out so that I can delete this app from my phone.

One of the worst apps I've ever dealt with. Constantly having connection issues, whether I'm on WiFi or cellular connection. When recording, i always get the error "symptoms not recorded", despite everything else Bluetooth and WiFi related works. Have tried this on multiple devices with the same result. Have rebooted, uninstalled the app, cleared cache, cleared data, etc., and even reformatted my phone. Same result. Out of each month, I'm lucky to get 10 days of successful recordings out 30 days

Really frustrated! Went to go record heart "problem/issue" I was having only to find out that I had to reset up my entire 'account". Once I reset up my account and was logged back on... its seems there is NO history saved or available. I have a samsung galaxy note 9. Why wasn't there an alert? or something to let me know. Even more frustrating is that no support is available on a Friday Night... I have to wait until Monday! Not good.

The app is terrible. The worst of the worst. Cheezy at best, like the first app ever invented. After getting a surgical implant, it would be nice to see the data. Heart rates, etc. ANYTHING! There is no feedback for the patient. Only once a month confirmation your data was uploaded. Half the time you have no idea if your even connected. A fitbit app is better than this thing. Terribly disappointed and expected way more after putting me through this physically.
