Real Experience Using ElevenReader - Voice Reader
Application Scenarios
In my daily life, I find myself constantly juggling multiple tasks. Whether I’m commuting to work, cooking dinner, or even exercising, time is often limited, and I cherish every moment I can dedicate to personal growth. This is where ElevenReader comes into play. On my daily train ride, I use the app to listen to articles and books. I remember a few weeks ago, I was deeply engrossed in a novel that I had intended to read but never found the time for. By simply loading it into ElevenReader, I transformed my commute into a productive reading session.
Additionally, I often have to review long documents for work. Last month, I had a massive report to digest. Instead of sitting in front of my screen, I decided to listen to it while cleaning my house. The app read it aloud, allowing me to absorb the information without being tied to my desk.
User Experience
The user interface of ElevenReader is both intuitive and friendly. Upon launching the app, I was greeted with a clean layout that made navigation a breeze. I was quickly able to import my documents and select my preferred voice. The workflow is seamless; loading a document takes mere seconds, and the playback controls are straightforward. I particularly appreciate the quick access to playback speed and voice options, which allows me to tailor my listening experience instantly. The app performs reliably without crashing, even when multitasking, which is a significant plus for me.
Overall, my experience with ElevenReader has been overwhelmingly positive. It has enhanced my productivity and made consuming content more enjoyable. I often find myself reaching for my phone to load up the app instead of scrolling through social media, which is a win in my book!
Pricing
ElevenReader offers a free version with basic features, which is quite generous for casual users. However, the premium version unlocks advanced features such as additional voice options and unlimited usage of multi-format support. The subscription is reasonably priced, and I found the investment worth it considering the time it saves me and the enjoyment I get from using the app daily.
Updates & Support
The developers of ElevenReader seem committed to improving the app continuously. I’ve noticed regular updates that not only introduce new features but also enhance existing ones. In terms of support, their customer service team is responsive. I had a minor issue with document importing, and they addressed it promptly, demonstrating a solid commitment to user satisfaction.
Security & Privacy Review
As an American user, security and privacy are always top of mind when using apps like ElevenReader. First and foremost, the app is available through official app stores (both App Store and Google Play), which adds a layer of trustworthiness. During the registration process, I was pleased to find that the app requires minimal personal information, which is a refreshing change in today’s app ecosystem. I only needed to provide my email address, allowing for a hassle-free sign-up experience.
Regarding ads and tracking behavior, I noticed that ElevenReader does not bombard users with intrusive advertisements. The premium version eliminates ads entirely, which is a significant improvement over many free apps that compromise user experience with constant interruptions. Furthermore, the app has transparent data handling policies, ensuring that personal data is not sold to third parties. This focus on privacy makes me feel secure while using the app to read sensitive documents.

Ehhh, could be better. No matter how clear the pictures are from the book, it still mixes words together or changes a letter or forgets a whole freaking letter. The pronunciation option simply doesn't work. I edited three words and it did not change how the ai spoke the words. I can't edit the text itself, so i can't fix any little mistake the app makes when converting the picture to text and audio. The only reason this app is getting 2 stars is because of the more realistic, *free*, ai voices.

Besides the occasional voice errors like some voices adding weird sounds in between sentences I've had a great time with the app. I would really like to have the ai helper/assistant memorize the entire book. I want to be able to ask it things like who is this character and it be able to go back in the book and give me a quick background of that character. Iv stopped using it because the few times I've tried it just tells it doesn't have the info or it only talks about the paragraph im on.

The app is overall really good I enjoy that i can upload my own documents and have realistic voices instead of robotic voices. I'm only giving it 3 stars because it can be a bit glitch at times. It will sometimes pronounce things wrong as well as have added noises in the document reading. And the bookmark feature, it will start me back at a previous point in the document at times. If these issues get reduced or fixed I would definitely would give it a full 5 stars. Thank you.

I have downloaded a few different apps to help me read books and documents. This one has been my favorite. The voices are natural, even inflection and tone is great! I love having the option to buy hours of listening versus a month or year. I've tried other apps and all sound robotic and are not as easy to use. Fantastic app for someone with vision issues and dyslexia!

I've been searching for an app like this, and this one is the best by far. The ui is fast, easy to use and it does exactly what I need it to: read very long texts with voices that don't sound like robots and has a ton of voices that are quite good to choose from. It even allows you to link an entire chat session from any llm model and automatically formats it and adds who said what so you can listen without getting lost. The pro price is more than worth it, which gives you unlimited listening.
