APP tends to freeze at playback mode. I took off my stars and gave it one because it won't let me remove it. Actually ZERO stars. Aug. 20, 2024 update. App has not gotten better. Now I try to view live and it will play then freeze up and skip to present and miss everything in between. I can't follow an image from beginning to end. Time for a different system with a better app.
Worked fine at first but for the last 2 weeks it just keep loading then it says "failed to start playing". What's the point of updating an app when it suppose to work better but instead is ruined. I would give it a 0 start if I had the options because how I'm suppose to keep my home safe and the people inside when I can even see what's happening. This is ridiculous, please fix this problem!!
Barely gets the job done, clunky. If you have a choice of a system with a better app please pick it. This let's you do what you need but not easily. It won't remember preferences like if you drag and swap cameras, or to always show my camera in HD. Getting the menu to come up requires tapping just right on the video, not so you accidentally drag or double click and then you better be fast to change an option. I wouldn't even try to do playback on here in the past, it's virtually unnavigable.
Used to be problem free but recent updates had been buggy. The long live stream load time is finally resolved but the latest version now shows an error whenever >2 streams are viewed: "Number of streaming channels exceeded limit. Please stop playing other channels of the device and try again." Didn't use to be the case in earlier versions.
software is hard to understand. camera pictures are not clear. for some reason the time keeps slipping back and never seems to be accurate.
