Seamlessly adjust and control your device's volume levels with precision, ensuring the perfect sound for every moment. Whether you're listening to music, watching videos, or gaming, Edge Volume offers intuitive features and customizable settings to suit your preferences. Elevate your audio experience and take control of your sound like never before with Edge Volume!

Features & Highlights

Edge Volume is a versatile app designed to give users complete control over their device's volume settings. With its user-friendly interface and powerful features, it stands out as a must-have for anyone looking to manage sound effectively. Here are some of the core features that make Edge Volume a fantastic choice:

  • Volume Profiles: Create customized volume profiles for different scenarios. Whether you’re in a meeting, at the gym, or enjoying a movie night, you can set specific volume levels tailored to each environment. For instance, I often switch to a “Do Not Disturb” profile during work hours to minimize distractions.
  • Quick Access Widget: The app includes a handy widget that allows you to adjust volume levels without having to navigate through menus. I love being able to swipe down from my home screen and make quick adjustments while watching videos.
  • Scheduled Volume Changes: This feature lets you automate your volume settings based on time or location. I programmed it to lower the volume automatically every night at 10 PM, ensuring I’m not disturbed while sleeping.
  • Individual App Volume Control: Edge Volume allows you to set different volume levels for each application. I often crank up the volume for my music app while keeping my messaging app on silent, so I don’t miss any important notifications.
  • Vibration Control: Fine-tune vibration settings alongside volume settings. When I’m in public places, I prefer my phone to vibrate instead of making noise, and this feature makes that transition seamless.

Real Experience Using Edge Volume

Application Scenarios

As someone who juggles both work and leisure, Edge Volume has become an integral part of my daily routine. In the mornings, as I prepare for work, I set the app to switch to my “Work” profile, which lowers notifications and alerts to prevent distractions. During my commute, I switch to a “Travel” profile that enhances music volume and minimizes ringer sounds, ensuring I can enjoy my playlist without interruptions. In the evenings, when I settle down to watch a movie, I activate the “Movie Night” profile, which optimizes sound for my viewing experience. This seamless transition between different profiles has greatly improved my daily productivity and enjoyment.

User Experience

The user interface of Edge Volume is clean and intuitive, making it easy for anyone to navigate. I found the setup process straightforward, with clear instructions guiding me through creating my first volume profiles. The feature workflow is fluid; switching between different profiles or accessing the quick access widget is a breeze. The app’s performance is impressive, running smoothly without any lag or crashes. Overall, using Edge Volume has been a refreshing experience. It feels like I have a personal sound technician at my fingertips, enabling me to tailor my audio environment effortlessly.

Pricing

Edge Volume is available for free, but it also offers a premium version that unlocks additional features. Given the value it provides, the premium subscription is reasonably priced. I opted for the premium version after just a week of usage, as the extra features significantly enhanced my experience. The cost is well worth the convenience and control it provides over my device’s audio settings.

Updates & Support

The developers of Edge Volume are proactive about updates, regularly releasing new features and improvements based on user feedback. I appreciate their commitment to enhancing the app’s functionality. Customer support is also commendable; I had a minor issue with a feature not working correctly, and the support team responded quickly and effectively, resolving my issue within a day. Their dedication to user satisfaction is evident.

Security & Privacy Review

As an American user, I prioritize security and privacy when using applications like Edge Volume. The app is available on reputable platforms like the App Store and Google Play, which adds a layer of credibility. When I registered, I noticed that the app only required basic personal data, such as my email address for creating an account, which I found reasonable. There are no intrusive ads or excessive tracking behavior, which is a major plus in today’s digital landscape. Edge Volume has a clear privacy policy, detailing how they use and protect user data, which provides reassurance for users concerned about privacy.

A little tricky to get it up and working but once I did it seems to work pretty well. If you didn't know this you can have multiple Edge panels active at the same time which initially confused me because the apps pops out by default and then if you swipe it again a second panel comes out and it's this volume slider which is actually not a slider you have to incrementally tap at it. And it's in notification nice to have a way to activate the volume control without having to use a physical button.

Easy to use, familiar UI. But the app muted my Media volume when I left the phone overnight. (Not in "Do not disturb" time). Everything is enabled such as Notification, System, Calls but Media volume. Please check. Using this app on S22 Ultra

I like the functionality of edge volume, but would like to see the following features: 1. The option to unblur the screen. 2. The option to round the corners of the background image. 3. The option to adjust the opacity of the background image. 4. The option to adjust the size of the volume slider. 5. The option to change the speaker icon independently.
