Game has been abandoned. All discord channels closed, not a single word from the dev for weeks. No in-game events. Same "limited time" shop page in game on a repeat timer. Could've been a really good game... Update: Developer final put out an update. Overhauled the whole game... now it's on an energy-based system (even the solo campaign) and a lot of core gameplay has been removed or made worse. The game is essentially pay-to-play now, where before you could grind as much as you want. Bad.
Too much pay to win. everything is a struggle unless you pay. the inventory is too small without paying. getting new premium characters takes too long without paying. getting new skills takes too long without paying. basically play the same non premium characters, doing the same thing over and over, without any progress. this gets boring very quick. the gameplay is actually great. the characters and skills are cool. it's just repetitive and stale without spending a bunch of money.
Basic function is decent, but there's really no consistency to the characters or monsters, no explanation on what and why. Feels like a gameplay concept more than a fleshed out game. My biggest turnoff was the Pay structure, the cheapest paid unlock hero was $20. I really wanted more fulfilling micro transactions, $1-5, something to spend my Google Opinion rewards on.
It's pay to win and you constantly die. It takes a lot of grinding to get rank tomes. You can buy them though. Which is why I wouldn't.. I enjoy spending money on games that don't force you to spend money. These types of games are hard to play and take the joy out of it. There's no feel of accomplishment here. This could be a great game! It's different and could be nice if it were less pay to win and more "have fun playing my game and if you like it spend money."
Overall it's a bit simple and repetitive. Nothing about this game makes it feel like it stands out. It's basically a skin of a traditional MOBA style game only on a PvE map. Player versus player options and combat are pretty devoid of skill. The game claims to be in it's early stages, but it's a full release now. It's basic and fun for those looking to kill some time.
