This is an edit to my original review after having time to play. This game is still fun. the downside of this is the fact that it takes FOREVER to be able to upgrade anything in the village. It takes forever to gather materials, and then you have to wait 14 or more days for the upgrade to take place. so I'm dropping stars from 5 to 3. When you catch new fish, you don't get to fish for them, specifically because you have to get the lure. Not enough room to finish my thoughts. Great relaxing game.
Nice graphics. Otherwise very repetitive. And there is no way to rank high without paying. They constantly claim it's luck but it's pay to rank. Many of the tasks cannot completed without purchasing special items. The game is structured to flow that way. They claim to be working on it but they keep making it worse. Then they ask for positive reviews...
I truly really enjoy the game having never spent a single dollar on it it's still a very entertaining game it's slightly repetitive but all the constant events keep it interesting, id give it 5 out of 5 but the constant introduction of new lure events that are only pay to win or you'll place low in the event and challenges without purchasing lures sucks besides that fun and addicting game with tons of different fish to catch and plenty to do!
When you start playing, at least for me there were no ads. Great!!! Wrong! When I wanted to watch a video instead of using pearls, "sorry no videos available" are something to that effect. Not as advertised, also trying to contact them is a headache, but I do enjoy playing it. I will probably uninstall until the issues are fixed.
I don't get it... it's awesome because there are NO other ads. But... I don't understand the game. Even after spending money, it feels impossible to get anywhere. Game freezes here and there. It's not clear how lures are collected or issued. Then at the start of a competition, how in the world do some players already have 100k+ points...? If you're playing just to kill time, this is fun. You catch something each time you cast. If you want to participate in the challenges, worse than gambling!
